Full Time Servers

SERVER POSITION FOR HIGH VOLUME SEAFOOD CONCEPT

This is a full-time role. Must have Lunch availability

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate would be one who has experience serving  in a high volume restaurant. A successful candidate will adopt our family culture and employ customer service and organizational skills that will critically contribute to maintaining, upholding and enhancing guest satisfaction and standards of excellence. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be transparent, honest, and report to the general manager or owners.

  • Responsible for proper service of alcoholic beverages in compliance with TABC regulations.

  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times.

  • Strictly comply with, enforce, and learn/adopt new sanitation and cleanliness regulations and safety standards.  

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with owners, general manager, co-workers and patrons.

  • Embody the family culture of our restaurant and deliver exceptional service.

  • Responsible for keeping uniform clean and wrinkle-free at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to comply with COVID and company standards.

  • Ability to take direction and multitask while remaining calm under pressure.

  • Accuracy and speed in handling stressful situations and providing solutions.

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, working efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele.

  • Handle card and cash transactions.

  • Maintain a safe environment by serving patrons properly and in compliance with TABC rules and regulations.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Experience working as a serverin a high volume restaurant.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Servsafe Food Handler Certificate

  • TABC

Line Cook

PRIOR COOKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Looking for a self-motivated, multi-tasker, that works well in a fast-paced environment

The Garbo's restaurant has moved and is growing into its new location off of Mopac and Parmer Lane.  We are looking for a fun, friendly, and reliable team member to join our Garbo’s family. We are looking for a BOH line-cook that can handle multiple orders with a breeze all whilst maintaining the quality and consistency that has made us who we are. We are known for our lobster rolls but offer many more delectable menu items. We focus on a small menu and have occasional specials or small menu change-outs. You will report to the kitchen manager and the general manager.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be prompt and consistent

  • Must have valid food handlers permit

  • Transparent communication with our leadership is key

  • Able to lift 40 pounds

  • Able to multitask

  • Can take high volume environment

  • Willingness to learn
